Conference Venue
The conference will be taking place at the University of Reading’s London Road Campus. Situated on Reading’s London Road (see on Google Maps), it is a short walk from Reading town centre. We as such recommend conference attendees look for accommodation in Reading town centre.

The symposium will take in London Road Campus’ Building 22 (see the London Road Campus Map). Oral presentations and keynotes will take place in Lecture Theatre LO22 G01, while poster presentations will take place in LO22 G06/G07. Lunch and refreshments will be available in LO22 G03/G04, adjacent to the poster room.

Pre-Conference Events
Pre-conference events on June 17th, 2026, will be taking place at the university’s main White Knights campus (see on Google Maps).

The Bayesian Mixed-Effects Modelling Workshop will be taking place in room G37 in the Harry Pitt Building (building 62 in grid reference C6 of the White Knights Campus Map). Access to the Harry Pitt Building is easiest via the university’s Earley Gate Entrance. Reading Buses service numbers 4/4a (Lion) and 17 (Purple) go from various locations in Reading town centre towards the Earley Gate entrance. Alight at The Three Tuns for Earley Gate (this is the final stop out of town for the number 17 bus, while 4/4a continue to Bracknell).

The Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism’‘s (CeLM) annual Research Afternoon will be taking place in room G15 of the Henley Business School building (building 138 in grid reference C3 of the White Knights Campus Map). Access to this building is easiest via Reading Buses services that stop at the main campus bus stop. Bus numbers 20 (White Knight) and 21 (Claret) both offer regular buses between various stops in Reading town centre and Whiteknights Campus.

Conference Dinner
The Conference Dinner will be taking place at Thames Lido, from 7pm on the evening of June 18th, 2026. Thames Lido is located on the River Thames, near Reading Bridge (see on Google Maps).
