Conference registration is now open. Please register via the University of Reading online store.

Presenters (paper and poster) must register by April 24th, 2026.
Early-bird registration closes on May 1st, 2026.

Conference Registration Costs
Early bird registration by May 1st, 2026:

  • Academic staff/faculty: £220
  • Students: £140

Full price registration from May 1st, 2026 – June 1st, 2026:

  • Academic staff faculty: £240
  • PhD students: £160

Conference registration includes lunch on both days of the conference, along with tea/coffee and refreshments during the coffee breaks. Conference registration also provides access to pre-conference events on June 17th, 2026. Registration for these additional events is required but is free (see below for further information).

Conference Dinner (£45)
The conference dinner will take place on the evening of Thursday, June 18th, 2026 at Thames Lido, by the River Thames. Originally opened to the public in 1902 as a Ladies Swimming Bath, the pool was closed in 1974. Awarded Grade II listed status in 2004, the site was renovated and re-opened as Thames Lido in 2017, including a modern swimming pool, restaurant and events space.

The Conference Dinner will take place in the events space, and will include buffet-style food and a drink on arrival.

Bayesian Mixed-Effects Modelling Workshop
The pre-conference workshop on Bayesian mixed-effects modelling will take place on Wednesday, June 17th, 2026. The workshop will involve two sessions, one in the morning of June 17th, and one in the afternoon. The workshop will be delivered by Dr João Veríssimo (University of Lisbon).

The workshop is free for conference attendees to attend, but space is limited. Conference attendees must register for this additional workshop. Registration information for the workshop will be provided once you register for the conference.

Due to limited spaces, please register for the Bayesian Mixed-Effects Modelling Workshop by May 1st, 2026.

CeLM Research Day
Conference attendees are welcome to attend the Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism’‘s (CeLM) annual Research Afternoon on the afternoon of Wednesday, June 17th, 2026. This event is free, but conference attendees are requested to sign up if they wish to attend. Conference attendees can sign-up for this event when they register for the conference.
